Annual Utah Historical Stcie meet to be here Sept. 12-14 VERNAL SPECIAL The Utah State Historical Society will hold its 28th annual meeting in Vernal for three days starting September 12, 13 and 14.. All members of the Uintah Historical Society will be given the same privileges, according to Mrs. Wanda Staley, president. Many interesting programs are scheduled for this meet and anyone interested may register and attend. Registration will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Uintah Stake Tabernacle. At 8 p.m. Friday, as history session, "The Utah Land Rush" opening of the Indian Reservations will be given by Craig Fuller. Other topics will be discussed that evening also.
