Show BYU August graduates Students from this area who have graduated from BYU this August are Wayne Phillip Calder, receiving a bachelor's degree; Tammee Velloy Jarvie a bachelor's degree; Troy Dcvere Ostler a bachelor's degree; and Alan Keith Wood, a master's degree. BYU has an enrollment of 26,000 students. The August graduates, in addition to those who received degrees in December and April, bring the total for the academic year to 5,636. BYU is operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and is the largest church-related and private university in the United States. The graduates represent 49 states and 37 foreign countries. Of the total graduating, 59 percent are men and 41 percent are women. During the August commencement, university officials conferred 76 doctoral degrees, 433 master's degrees, 1,396 bachelor's degrees, and 114 two-year associate degrees. |
