Show Jensen Gladys Peterson Phone 789-1945 Ann Moon new teacher Ann Moon is a new first grade teacher from our area. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ruppe made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Fran Peterson went to Grand Junction over the weekend. They visited with friends. The sister of Vera Snow, Virginia Stewart, from Palanamo, Calif., and her daugher Bonnie from Boise, Idaho, were out to visit. Before they got there, they had a six week stay at the home of Ronnie Lewis, a son of their sister, Lillie. Ronnie may be remembered by some in the area as being a top wrestler in Uintah High School. Ross Snow, his grandson Greg and sister Hilda Morgan and her grandson, Max Johns, were among the group from the Vernal unit of the historical society that toured the Blue Mountain territory. Todd Wallice, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Snow, returned to his home in Topeka, Kan., after visiting his relatives for the last few weeks. A special two-hour instruction session will take place Tuesday. Sept. 9. at the Jensen Chapel for all those interested in-terested in learning how to make children's levi's. The class will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 12 noon. Beth Wall took her mother. Mrs. Tom Robbins of Roosevelt, and went to Salt Lake City to attend the testimonial of Wade Robbins, who has received a mission call to Guatamala. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wall have a new granddaughter. She belongs to the Terry Walls of Maeser. She has a brother, Shane wno welcomed her home. That makes 14 grandchildren for the Gary Walls. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wall have moved into our area. |
