Show FEDERAL TRUCKS li CROiiBEfflO District Sales Manager Tells of Steady Progress in Last Decade. E. W. Nicholson, district sales manager mana-ger of the Federal Motor Truck company, com-pany, Detroit, Mich., was in the city for several days last week in consultation consulta-tion with the officers and manager of the Savage Motor company, 430 South Main street, distributors of Federal trucks, Commerce trucks and Utility tractors for the Salt Lake district. "Our business has been established just ten years," said Mr. Nicholson yesterday, "and, during that time we have experienced experi-enced a steady and substantial growth. We manufacture trucks and tractors exclusivelynothing ex-clusivelynothing else. There are five styles of Federal trucks, ranging from one to five tons capacity, and two styles of tractors, the three-ton and seven-ton. "Ijast year the Federal Motor Truck company made approximately 8000 trucks and the demand for the Federal product is so heavy that we are planning to virtually vir-tually double the output this year; that is,' we expect to make around 15,000 trucks in 1920. "Our trucks are so well and favorably known that it. is not necessary to argue much to convince prospective purchasers of their merits. Hundreds are already in active use in the districts, scores in Salt Lake and Ogden. We can take any man Interested to half a dozen or more satisfied users of Federal trucks without taking him on a long journey. In this district the Federal truck business has shown the .same steady and consistent prowth that has been characteristic of the- company throughout the United States." |
