Show Steel Club Meets Logan Today A ? 'Vm:- AiS' r rVv-i? ARARE battle may be expected this afternoon at Bonneville park when the Logan ball tossers, leaders of the Cache Valley league, match up with the Salt Lake Iron and Steel nine of the Commercial league. The game will begin promptly at 3 o'clock. In the roster of the two teams will be the fastest semlpros who have ever been seen in these parts. The Logan hoys have been showing their heels to every team in the northern part of Utah and southern Idaho, while the Iron and Steel club is an exceptionally strong nine. Gene Caldera and Herb Manouk will furnish the twirling for the visitors, while Dutch Groeschner, Allan Conkwrlght and Marty Beckstead will be on hand to grace the mound for the Salt Lake team. All of these men are pitchers of skill. Cal- I dera will probably start for the Loganites, while Tommy Fitzpatrick, manager of the Steel club, will probably use Groeschner. Groesch-ner. ' Fitzpatrick has assembled a strong aggregation. ag-gregation. In Sorenson, Mann, Kilpat-rtck, Kilpat-rtck, Dern, Barrette, George, Kwing, Kaufman and Young, the Salt Lakers will have some of the best there are in these parts.
