Show OUTLOOK iS BRIGHT FOR flCTOR CLUTCH Company to Take Over Local Lo-cal Shops; Assembling Plant May Go East. W. L. Withers, president of the Victor Vic-tor Motor & Clutch eompauy, was in the city during tho week to attend a directors' meeting of the A'ictor com- pany, at which the plans of the com-j com-j pany for the future, were discussed and a report made of the progress to date. Important business connected with the company necessitated President Withers' immediate return east, but before be-fore leaving ho gave out the statement that the affairs of tho company vvere-in vvere-in a flourishing condition lUid" future prospects exceedingly bright. The company com-pany is preparing to take over local shops for buildiug models for its own use, and plans are being made for building build-ing the assembling plant in the cast, exact location of which has not been decided, but will probably be located either in Denver, Colo., Omaha, !Neb., or Pes Moines, Iowa. Tho company plans to erect a plant by units, so that tho expense may .bo distributed over n longer period," and will be added to from time to time, as the growth of the company necessitates larger quarters. President Withers states that tho company has many orders for clutches on file which he has been unable to fill because of lack of manufacturing facilities, facili-ties, but hopes in the near future to lie in a position to fill orders tor the complete com-plete Victor hydraulic clutch. |
