Newell Will Address Ad-dress Technical Experts at Convention. Dr. Frederick Haynes Xewell, president presi-dent of the American Association of Engineers, will be the principal speaker at the state convention of technical engineers' en-gineers' to be held in Salt Lake next Friday and Saturday, according to announcement an-nouncement made last night by Eusrene Bush, temporary secretary of the titah chapter of the national organization. Besides discussing " the problems of the engineering profession, the convention conven-tion will effect a permanent organization organiza-tion of the Utah chapter.. The objects of the association are to further the interests in-terests of the profession and to raise engineering ethics throughout the country. coun-try. Its membership is open to all civil, electrical, mechanical, mining, chemical and other technical engineers. R. B. Ketchum of the state school of mines at the University of Utah is temporary president of the Utah chapter. chap-ter.
