Show PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTX TUTiON HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION RESOLU-TION NUMBER NINE . A joint resolution povldine for an amendment amend-ment to Section 4, A cle 13. of tho Constitution Consti-tution of the Stat 01 Utah relating: to tha taxation of mines and mining property and the assessments of same. , Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Stata of Utah, two-thirds of all the members elected to the two houses concurring therein: Section . That it is proposed to amend Section 4, Article 13 of the Constitution of tha State of Utah so that tha same will TtmA as follows : Section 4. All raetalliferras mines or mining min-ing claims, both placer and rock In place, thai be assessed at $5.00 per acre, and in additlov thereto at a value based upon soma mailt pie or sub-multiple of the net annual proceeds thereof. Alt other mines or mining claim and other valuable mineral depoeita. inelndln lands containing coal or h, dro-carbons, shall he assessed at their fall values All machinery used in mining and all property er surface improvements upon or appartenant to mi nee or mining clalrost and the value of any surface use made rf mining claims, or mining property for other than mining purposes, shall b assessed at full value.
