Conroy was named as fj is nominee in place of her husband. Dr. ) ;M. Conroy, who resigned, owing to ij his chairmanship of the county council of defense. On the Republican ticket Isaac N. Pierce was named for the legislature legisla-ture to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mrs. J. G. Falck. Joseph B. Bates, a young attorney of the city was named as the Democratic nominee for county attorney to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of C. A Boyd. R. H. Baumunk was named as the nominee on the Republican ticket to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation resigna-tion of Joseph E. Evans, who has been ordered to report to an eastern camp in the advocate general's department. The certificates of the nominations were filed with the county clerk this afternoon. |
