Evans, Ev-ans, who leaves tomorrow for Camp Upton. X. Y. The Hallowe'en idea was effectively carried ou t in the decorations. Covers t were laid for the following guests: Mr. and' Mrs. Joseph E. Evans, Mr. and Mrs. T. Earl Par-doe. Par-doe. Mr. and .Mrs. James Seowcroft and Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Volker. Following the dinner "500" was enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. John G. Tyler are here from San Francisco for a two weeks' visit with friends. The are former resideuts of Ogden. Mrs. M. D. McLean left Sunday for Long Beach. Cat., where she will spend the winter. Mrs. S. A. Shreeve and two children have returned re-turned from a two weeks' visit with relatives iu Salt Lake. Mrs. W. K. Kimball has as her guest Mrs. Edwin Boaler of Chicago. Mrs. Leland C. Swauer. who has been the ' guest of her pareets. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sxw- croft, for the past two months, left Friday for San Francisco, where she will join ber husband, hus-band, who is In the government service. Lieuteuant G. Oscar Russell of the intelligence intelli-gence department of the army is here on a furlough fur-lough from "Washington, P. 0-, for a visit with his wife. Mrs. Russell will remain here with her parents. Dr. and Mrs. Edward 1. Rich, white Lieutenant Russell is in the army. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Conahan of Roeelle Park. X. T.. are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Campbell. Dr. S. Y. Badcon left during the week for training at Fort Riley, Kansas. Dr. Badcon has been commissioned a captain in the niedi- cal corps, II i Mrs. W. B. Kimball and Mrs. Edwin Boaler motored to Salt Lake and spent Monday and Tuesday, the guests of Mrs. L. R. Wattis at the Maryland apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scowcroft returned Tuesday Tues-day from a ten days' trip to San Francisco. Superintendent R. A. Campbell of the Salt Lake division of the Southern Pacific returned Wednesday from a montn's stay in San Francisco. Fran-cisco.
