Show WISCONSIN LOSES TO CAMP W ELEVEN By Universal Service. MADISON, Wis., Oct. 26. Camp Grant today defeated Wisconsin 7 to nothing in the first game of the season for both teams. Because of the Influenza quarantine quar-antine S. A. T. C. men were the only spectators. Camp Grant scored the last quarter and kicked goal. Barr of Wisconsin tried a forward pass, which was Intercepted by Mansfield. He ran through a scattered field for the only touchdown of the game. Both teams played good football but lack of experience and lighter weight counted, against the college men. Straight football was used most of the time, with I seesaw play of the old fashioned variety. |
