Show teem of the work Mrs. Nugent has done for the auxiliary. Thd'Y. W. C. A. club held a short business meeting at the home of Mrs. O. O. Davidson Tuesday. Four basketball teams were oigaDized and several new members were admitted into the club. Calloway, whor has been visiting in the city, returned Thursday to her home at CenterrlUe. Mr. - and Mrs. Eugene A. Farner and childreo : have left for Demuig, N. M.. where Mr. Karner : is stationed in Y. JI. C. A. work. Mrs. Helen Clark has returned from Ellens-burg, Ellens-burg, Wash., where she 1ms been visiting her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. BlHckmau of Bear Lake spent the week visiting in Boise. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wheeler of Twin Falls spent the week here. Mrs. Percy M. Many members have enjoyed nn afternoon there, and since the closing of the schools the children have been taken along for a day's outdoor vacation. A few informal knitting knit-ting parties also have been features of the week. Mrs. John F. Nugent of Boise, wife of the junior senator from Idaho, was honored with a gift in the form of a silver plate with a red cross engraved emblem iu the center, presented to her at a luncheon given recently in Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, by the ladies of the senate Red Cross auxiliary. The gift was a token of es- parents. General and Mrs. George H. Roberts. Mr. Robinson is ut a traiuing camp iu California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Bostfc of Weiser spent several days of the week visiting here. Mr. and Mrs. David Algabright, who have been visiting friends in Boise, left Wednesday for their home at Haines, Ore. Mrs. P. L. Mulghgrave, who spent the past two mouths with relatives here, left Thursdiiy for her home in Portland. Mrs. F. H. Gilcrist, who Is visiting here from Pasadena, Cal., was the guest of honor at an informal affair given Friday bv Mr. J. L. Priest. Mrs. Gilcrist is a guest at the Priest home. Mrs. H. R. Tnylor has returned from a Tislt to Ontario, Ore. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Coombs of Portland spent the week in Boise". Mrs. Franklin M. Smith is visiting with relatives rela-tives in Salt bake.
