CORN WEAKENED BY W RUMORS Prices Are Depressed by Advices That Turkey Offers Surrender. CHICAGO. Oct. 26. Reports that Turkey had made an offer which virtually nraouotc-d to surrender sur-render brought about a decided setback today in the value of oorn. The market closed heavy. 1VC to 2c net lower, with November at 1.25 to 1.1:5 lj and December ?1.20 to 1.20. Outs finished to iWtC down. The outcome in provisions wati an advance ranging rang-ing from 50c to 51.50. Corn closed at nearly the lowest figures of the day, regardless of announcements that minimum hog prices for November woqld be advnnced, and of the likelihood, therefore', that demand for corn to feed hoge would be much enlarged.
