Show I ST. ANTHONY, IDA. f ST. ANTHONY, Idaho. Kept. 21. Mrs. Carrie Seymour left Monday morning for Boise. She is a delegate from the women's wom-en's committee, council of defense, to the war workers' convention, which was held Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Leo Nelson and children chil-dren are spending a week in Salt Lake. Mrs. Paul Fletcher is visiting in Boise. Mr. and Mrs. G. K. Bowerraan left Monday for Salt I,ke Mrs. H- VV. Perham entertained the Tuesday Evening Bridge club this week and also won the prize. Mrs, B. E. Dnncan entertained tbe St. Katherine guild Thursday evening. The high school held a "get acquainted" party Friday evening In the "gym" of the high school building. Mrs. Frank Miller entertained at a knitting party Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. T. K. Sturdevant was honor guest. Twelve close friends of the guest of honor were present and presented hr with a service pillow. The house was tastefully decorated dec-orated with cut flowers, and luncheon was served. Mrs. Sturdevant will leave soon for Salt Lake to make her home. Mr. Ballantyne gave several vocal selections se-lections during the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Stead left Monday for their home in Farmington, Utah, after a month's visit with their daughter, Mrs. Henry Soule. Mr and Mrs. H. G. Harris and two daughters, Margaret and Virginia, have arrived home from Kentucky. Miss Nora Carroll and Miss Hazel Pocgee were last week-end visitors at Ash ton, the guests of Mrs. Jarnes A. Mr and Mrs. Carl Connoly left Friday for Mississippi to make their home. Mr and Mrs. C. K. Hanson of Tnorn-tnn Tnorn-tnn were last week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Gibson. Mr and Mm. W. R. Patton returned Sunday from Salt Lake, making the trip in their auto. |
