Show WILL TIE PUBLIC CHOOSE KTOIS? Chiropractor W. H. Pyott Makes Statement. Abraham Lincoln is quotert as t-aj'ing: "This nation, under God, shall lutve a new birth in freedom, and that govern -I mcnt of the people for tiie people, bhall not. peritih from t he earth." There was published, not very Ions ago, a cartoon, depicting- Presldctit vVil-s-on seated in the elviir of state, and to his one side was the spirit of George Washington and that of Abraham Lincoln Lin-coln was on the other side. This cartoon did not need any explanation, as at that period the United States of America was beginning to champion the. universal rights of the peoples of the universe, which rights were "sown" by George Washington, "cultivated" by Abraham Lincoln, and today President Wilson, with the allies, is preparing to "gather in the harvest" for democracy. Autocracy is being killed. But there exists here, at home, right among us, a terrifying, life-destroying autocratic Medical Med-ical Octopus, which has its legislative tentacles ten-tacles to closely wound that it is retarding retard-ing progression and the universal right of the people to employ any or aJl health restoring means, which they have proven and deem necessary in th treatment of any ailment or disease which they might , be the. victims of. This diigulsed autocratic auto-cratic Medical Octopus is endeavoring to appear in the eyes of the people as a beneficent, kind old Santa, Claus. giving awav presents of Kerurnt', drugy. etc., which in turn in many cases present ihe recipient with syphilis, tetanus and other disagreeable surprises. Chiropractic democracy offers the people peo-ple a science b i-Mi is rirugleta, serum -lets and non-turgical. It ca n nnd doo cure infantile paralysis, tuberculosis and other medically admitted incurable diseases. dis-eases. Chiropractic -democracy admits and can show indisputable proof of its ability to cure medically incurable diseases. dis-eases. If a public barber admitted his inability inabil-ity to cut your hair or a tailor t cat your suit, would you patronise thepi? Most certainly not; you would go to1 some barber or tailor who was demon- , strating daily his abOity of obtaining satisfactory sat-isfactory results. Now, how would you like to be FORCED BY LAW to patronize patro-nize the barber who admits he cfinnot cut your hair or the tailor who admits he cannot cut your suit? And ye.t this deplorable condition exists where your health and that of your family is concerned. con-cerned. Medical autocracy has succeeded In L'tah in obtaining legislation which aims to forbid the ri?:ht of the people to be attended by a Chiropractor who can indubitably in-dubitably prove his ability to remove the cause of disease. This regrettable los, then, is distincUy that of the people. A Chiropractor is never successfully prosecuted for malpractice, but he is prosecuted for having healed, in the majority ma-jority of cases, a chronic sufferer, one -ho has distinctly and definitely been abandoned by the Medical Autocracy as beinr Incurable. If tills be a crime, then Christianity is criminal, including its numerous nu-merous and varied a ssociati--ns for the up'ift and relief of suffering humanity. Let the people be the judge, so that "be who merits the palm wtil bear it." But autocracy has always been afra id of the people and will continue to so be. for its principles are opposite to that of free people. Next month some of tae be:-t chiropractors in this state will be tr'ed In the courts for doing good to their fellow men. Tour riht to choose them in case of plckne?s may be taken from you. Wake up! FYotest to the representatives represen-tatives of our state whom you have cho-ten; cho-ten; see to it that the law is changed to permission in place of persecution, so that when the hoys return from "over there." racked and torn, they will hav the right of being returned te the ranks of the producers of the nation by the aid of chiropractic democracy.
