Show LIEUTENANT SPANIEL TO VISIT SALT LAKE The Salt Lake Crecho-Slovak alliance, trrrougii its president, Frank A. Pafek, and its secretary, G. F. Belovsky, has received re-ceived a letter from the Saja Francisco office of the Gzec ho-Slovak alliance, ' which states that at present Lieutenant Oldrich Spaniel of the Szecho-Slovak . army is traveling hi the western states. i On his return journey to France he will stop in Salt Lake City and thte will enable the Czecho-Slovaks residing here to get acquainted with him. Lieutenant Spaniel is traveling through this country to encourage tne recruiting for the ol-unteer ol-unteer army of the Czecho-Slovaks. At the beginning of the war he was an officer offi-cer in the Czecho-Slovak army in Russia, Rus-sia, but after the treaty of Brest-Li tov he was transferred to the Cxecho-Slovak army in France. |
