For the first time in America, Uncle Sam has transported soldiers on duty to their new stations by airplanes, the war department depart-ment let it be known today. The rlipht through the clouds was two weeks, ago today. Eighteen men were ordered from Kantoul, III., to the school of military aeronautics. University of Illinois, Champaign. Cham-paign. They were taken in planes, piloted pi-loted by officers, and rushed across Illinois.
