Show HAWORTH TO PRESENT CUIMS JB PJH Now on Parole, Convicted Man Is Making Progress as Citizen. Among the applications for clemency to be considered at the next meeting of the state board of pardons is that of Nick Ha worth, who was in prison from August 1, 19U0, to March 21, 1910, after conviction on a charue of murder iu the first degree, and w ho now seeks a pardon. Haworth is now on parole, j having been granted that degree of clemency March 21, 1916. In 1S9S a watchman named bander-son bander-son was killed at Farmintoi, Davis county, and suspicion ppinted to Haworth; Ha-worth; After considerable delay Haworth Ha-worth was convicted of the crime and remained in the stare prison nearly sixteen six-teen years before being paroled. There has always been a division of public and official opinion as to Haworth 's gnilt and the nature of his participation participa-tion in the crime'which resulted in Sanderson San-derson 's death. Since incarceration Haworth Ha-worth has been a well behaved prisoner and has been of especially good conduct since his parole, owning a home and otherwise making material progress as a citizen, with the aid of relatives who are convinced of his innocence. In a recent letter to Warden George A. Storis he says he is married and that a babv is added to the family. Other applications to be considered follow: For pardon Howard C.
