Introduction of motor trucks on all-star all-star mail service routes where roads permit is planned by the department, under authority of a recent law permitting per-mitting it to specify the type of ve-hiclo ve-hiclo used. The department has no power to compel the use of motor vehicles ve-hicles on the regular rural routes, but legislation will be sought to provide for government-owned motors for parcel post deliveries in this service also. |
