Show MRS. L. L. TERRY IS WED IN NEW YORK Salt Lake Woman Marries Hugh Swear-tnger, Swear-tnger, Kailroad Man of San Francisco. Word was received in Salt Lako yesterday yes-terday of the marriage in New York of Mrs. L. L. Terry of this city to HviRh Bwearinger of San Francisco. The marriage took place at the Plaza hotel and was witnessed only by a few close personal friends of the couple. Mrs. Terry was the widow of Xi. L. Terrv, member of the Brown, Terry & Woodruff company, and had been a resident of Salt Lake for more than a quarter of a century. She was married mar-ried to Mr. Terry in this city about twenty-five years ago. Mr. Terry, who was one of the most prominent business busi-ness men of the city and 'known for his love of quiet giving to charities, died here in May, 1913. Mr. Swearinger is general agent of the Burlington Route m San Francisco and it is understood that the couple will make their home there after a honeymoon trip in the east. Mrs. Swearinger has been prominent in Salt Lake society circles for years and will be missed by her many friends if she decides to remain in San Francisco Fran-cisco permanently. She owns a home at 1229 East South Temple, and has other large property interests in the city. At the time of her marriage to i Mr. Terry she was Miss Eugenia Evans. |
