Show BUREAU MAY SEEK HELP OF JAPANESE TWIN" FAITvS, Idaho, Jan. 5. The Twin Falls county farm bureau, through Us president, W. F. Al worth, entered into communication this week with Congressman Con-gressman Addison T. Smith concerning the advisability of securing- Japanese labor la-bor in this district for the cominsr year. The bureau appealed especially for advice ad-vice as -to whether or not there is a federal fed-eral law prohibiting the bringing in of Jaoanese laborers. Tom Koto, proprietor of a local cafe and recognized leader of his countrymen in this section, appeared before the advisory ad-visory council of the bureau this week and told them he was prepared to bring 500 Japanese into this section, provided the farmers approved, and the law did not prohibit such a move. |
