Johnson of the local force' detailed several detectives on the case, f They learned that the trunk had been shipped under baggage check to Hansen, Idaho. The train had had time to reach its destination before this Information was t obtained. However, the Idaho authorities i were communicated with by long-distance telephone. The case was hurriedly explained ex-plained to them and they were advised of the number of the check under which the trunk was shipped.- The Idaho officers broke into the trunk, examined the contents and Immediately communicated to the local police the re-suit re-suit ot their Investigation.
