Show CORRUPTION CHARGES. The senate committee on privileges and elections has been authorized to conduct con-duct an inquiry into the recent senatorial sena-torial elections in Pennsylvania and Illinois, Il-linois, in which states it is claimed unlimited un-limited amounts of money wero expended. ex-pended. The resolution is aimed at Penrose, Pen-rose, the successful Republican candidate candi-date in Pennsylvania, and Roger Sullivan, Sulli-van, the defeated Democratic candidate in Illinois. Investigation of tho elections elec-tions in Alabama. California, Indiana, Kentucky and Nevada has been proposed pro-posed to the investigating committee by Bristow of Kanan, who has conceded that his own defeat iu the primaries was fair and above board.
