Show NEWSPAPER MAN DIES SUDDENLY IN HOTEL John A. Hilliker, Veteran Circulation Manager in the Northwest, Is Called by the Eeaper. John A. Hilliker, 61 years of age, en paged for the major portion of his life in the circulation departments of various newspapers in the northwest, died at. a local hotel last night from heart failure. Mr. Hilliker was born at Dexter, New York state. About thirty years ago he was circulation manager" of the Minneapolis Minne-apolis Journal, and later filled a similar simi-lar position on the Minneapolis Times. For the last few years Mr. and Mrs. Hilliker had made their home in California, Cali-fornia, Mr. Hilliker being identified in promoting several mining propositions. About three mouths ago they came to Salt Lake. Besides a widow, Mr. Hilliker is survived sur-vived by two children and three grandchildren, grand-children, all residing in Chicago. Funeral arrangements will not be made pending word .being received from the children. K. T. Boardman, 402 First avenue, this city, is a brother-in-law of Mr. Hilliker. j The body was removed to Eber W. Hall 's undertaking" parlors. |
