Show STUDENTS TO PASS ON EARLY VACATION Christmas Holidays at University of Utah May Start Three Days Earlier Than Usual. A mass meeting of the students of the University of Utah will be held today for the purpose of ascertaining the student stu-dent opinion in regard to the plan to begin the Christmas holidays three days earlier than scheduled. Several reasons are advanced for changing the programme, and it is probable prob-able that little opposition will be offered. of-fered. The members of the faculty wish to dismiss school before the convention of the Utah Educational Educa-tional association is closed. This meeting meet-ing will be held in Salt Lake, and the delegates are in a sense the guests of the university. Students living out of town would welcome the change because it would allow them to go home earlier for Christmas. Students who wish to work in the stores during the holidays could work there three days longer than usual. Manv of the students depend on working work-ing during the late shopping days to earn part of their expenses. In any event, the vacation will last only two weeks. |
