Show COMPETITION KEEN IN'SCHOOL VOTING Special to The Tribune. PRICE. Dec. 5. School election tomorrow tomor-row promises to rival the general election in votes cast. The contest in even- precinct pre-cinct is warm. In Price Oliver J. Harmon, present president of the board, is opposed op-posed by Carl Marcusen. former county superintendent and cashier of the Price. Commercial bank. and Oscar Hanson, salesman for a Salt Lake firm. William Littlejohn, superintendent of the mines at Castlegate. and C. R. Jones, city clerk of Helper, are waging a hot fight in precinct No. 2. Dr. A. W. Dowd was successful over a large bunch of aspirants in Sunnyside in a primary and he is opposing W. X. Draper, Dra-per, present member from Wellington. Mrs. Adah Irvin of Hiawatha is making mak-ing a strong campaign in Hiawaih against Cameron Schultz. but the latter has a host of supporters. The present member from that district is Robert Howard, who has moved to Cameron and Is not a candidate. candi-date. In the far corner of the county Bishop I George Ruff, how on the board from Sco-; Sco-; field, is opposed by Samuel Woodhead of I Clear Creek. |
