Show CRISIS IN ENGLAND. It is impossible to forecast the outcome out-come of the cabinet crisis in Great Britain. Up to the present moment Premier Asquith has been able to surmount sur-mount every difficulty and remain at the helm of the ship of state. Unquestionably Unques-tionably large numbers of English people are not satisfied with the manner in which the war has been conducted and desire such changes as will .bring about more vigorous action. David Lloyd-George is the prime mover in the effort now being put forth, and may emerge from the struggle with full power. At this distance and without full knowledge of tho facts, it would be unwise to say that Premier Asquith has proved a failure ever since the war began, but the fact remains that the people are not satisfied with the existing exist-ing situation and that the feeling of hostility against the coalition cabinet has brought it down. Undoubtedly the Teutonic drive in Rumania has something some-thing to do with it. Both Premier Asquith and Lloyd-George Lloyd-George have resigned, and of course that means the other ministers are out. Upon the advice of Mr. Asquith, the king has summoned Andrew Bonar Law to attempt the formation of a new ministry. Whether he will be able to bring the discordant elements into har-monv har-monv remains to be seen. |
