Warden, a miner and elose friend of Mr. Sneddon for many years, happened to enter his old partner's loom. Sneddon told him that he had shot himself about an hour previously, hut nobodv in the house appeared to live heard the report of the firearm, Tvhkfh was au old-style .45-caliber pistol. According to those who knew him . well, do reason could be assigned for '-Slnedden taking his own life, except that he had been ill for about a week. The only indication that he intended to commit suicide was suggested a few days ago when he was said to have remarked re-marked that life was not worth living for a sick man. Robert B. Snedden, 143 South Tenth East Street, identified the body as that of his brother. He declared that Sued, den had been suffering from heart trouble and this might have led him to seek death. Another brother, Frank Snedden, lives at Eureka. Two sisters also survive him: Mrs. Ella De Hooge of Salt Lake and Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis of Midvale. The body is now at the undertaking parlors of Percy C. Silver awaiting funeral fu-neral arrangements. |
