Show Carroll dies in California Joseph Kenneth Carroll, 69, of Sunnyvale, Sun-nyvale, Calif., died in a California hospital Dec. 7, 1980. Born March 8, 1911 in Orderville, Utah to George Franklin and Amy Clarissa Terry Carroll. He married Ester Calista Colton, Aug. 12, 1939 later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 12, 1971. He was a mink rancher and worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Funeral services were Wed. Dec. 10 in the Thomson Vernal Mortuary Chapel. Counselor William C. Huff con- ducted. Ralph Siddoway gave the invocation in-vocation and Counselor Huff gave some remarks. Paul Carroll paid tribute, and Laura Foley and Marie Dick sang "Beyond the Sunset". Hugh Colton spoke, followed by another musical. Mark Freestone gave the benediction. Paul Carroll dedicated the grave in the Rock Point cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Colton, Daryl Colton, Edward Colton, Paul Carroll, Car-roll, Wayde Carroll and Julian Roberts. Survivors are sons, Edward (Ted) Colton, Vernal and Wade Carroll, San Jose, Calif; daughter, Mrs. Susan Goodrich, San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren; grand-children; four great grandchildren; brother, Paul W., of Orem, Utah; and four sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Vivian) Shumsion, Springville, Utah; Mrs. Ivan (Cora) Dimick of Midvale, Utah; Mrs. James L. (Viola) McMillan of Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Utah and Mrs. Clifton T. (Kezia) Pyne of Orem. Utah. |
