A. of Arthur gave a party in honor of returned soldiers at the L. D. S. hall. Twenty-one soldiers were extended Invitations. In-vitations. The hall was prettily decorated dec-orated in the national colors. Home-made candies, ice cream, wafers and punch were served during the evening. Mrs. Harry Jones and Miss Mary McKeague presided at the candy booth and Mrs. A. Earle, Mrs. Goldie Honwarth and Mrs. Allie Gee at the ice cream booth. Several Sev-eral vocal selections were rendered by Mrs. James Smiley and by the Garfield Male Glee club. A welcome-home speech was given by A. Tygerson. Ed Potter of Garfield gave an interesting talk on his experiences of several months' active service ser-vice at the front.
