Show WHY MOTORISTS BUY JORDAN AUTDMOBILES Many persons who do not know the trend of the-motor car business marvel at the number of high-grade motor cars registered every day. They wonder why these cars are sold and why the men who buy them get them. "It Is a simple tale," says Harry Kaar, manager of the Mercer-Jordan Sales company, distributors of Mercer and Jordan Jor-dan cars. "They buy good cars because they know they are getting their money's worth and because they know when they get a good car they are securing adequate transportation for some time to come," said Mr. Kaar. "The manufacturers of the Mercer and Jordan build for futures," continued Mr. Kaax. "They have always built good cars, and never more than four cylinders. cylin-ders. These cars are built In modern I plants, where every process is watched from the time the raw material enters j the factory until the finished car leaves. I "For Instance, the organization of the inspection department at the Mercer plant is a study in itself. Here are gathered gath-ered all those men whose word is law. If they say a part 'shall not pass,' it does not pass, and that Is all there Is to it. These men arc equipped with calipers and scientific Instruments, instead in-stead of lathes and tools, and thev watch parts of thousandths of an inch like you and I watch our bank accounts. "The demand for Mercer cars is growing grow-ing so fast that the factory ia hard put to fill orders, but that does not lessen the accuracy in any degree. Inspections are made just as closely Jn time when the factory is not running full blast. "Many times in the last few years the Mercer company has been urged by its dealers to 'produce a greater number of cars; that is, enter the quantity production produc-tion class of cars. They have consistently consistent-ly refused to deviate from their policy of restricted output of high-grade motor cars, and on this they have built their success." |
