He'd be more comfortable in au old easy chair on his ffont porch. Driving Comfort. "What is wanted to make the driver as comfortable as the other members of the party is a road car a car you . can drive with but two fingers on the wheel and glide along at any speed, over any road or up any hill, without fussing around with pedals and levers. That's why we talk so much about Packard readability. Doors should operate from the inside and curtains ofien with the doors to give you the greatest amount of comfort .at a time like this. "Accessibility of all moving parts for adjustment or repair is necessary to mental comfort. High tire mileage and normal gasoline consumption add to the comfort of all other things. Absence Ab-sence of vibration, freedom from annoying an-noying rattles, contribute to mental ease. And, of course, the cushions of vour car are vitally necessary to bodily bod-ily comfort. In this respect I might say that Packard cars are upholstered throughout in genuiue leather, built over long coiled springs and stuffed with real curled hair. Upon careful reflection, however, I am sure that most folks will agree with I me that the cushions and springs of the car alone are far from being the principal features of a car's comfort-giving comfort-giving qualities.
