Show 1 HOSPITAL WAR FUND IS GROWING RAPIDLY Utah has contributed more than $727 to tho American Women's hospitals for the relief of European war sufferers, accord-, accord-, ing to the report of Dr. Elsie Ada Faust, state chairman of the asrociation. Davis county, through Dr. Margaret A. Freece, district chairman, has contributed $57.75, the Utah State Nat'onal bank 425, the 1 Catholic Women's league $15, Mrs. A- H. j S. Uird 510. Walker Brothers bank ?10. j Other contributions are: Sea Gull homestead No. 5CS3. Brotherhood Ameri- car. Yoenirn, Dr. George W. Mtddleton, Dr. Samuel H. Allen, Dr. Joseph H. Grant, William S. Burton, Mrs. T. K. Woodruff, Mrs. James Franklin, Mrs. John Cowan, Mrs.- Robert Walker, Dr. Chandler, Mrs. i George Lawrence, Mrs. A. M. Walden, Jennie Sands, F.va L'oyd, Mr. Aiken and Mrs. Lucr e t ia Kimball. Women of the Brighton ward gave an ; entertainment and dance at their amuse-' amuse-' ment hall Friday for the benefit of the , drive. They netted SS0 for the fund. Miss Ethel Quick directed the entertainment. Tho. drive will end Juno 1, and those desiring to contribute should notify Dr. Faust, at 603 Hooper building, as soon as rossible. |
