Kellar against eleven citizens of Luling, Caldwell Cald-well county, Texa.s, on the grounds of damages growing out of the tarring and feathering of Kellar in May, 1318, at Lul-Ingr. Lul-Ingr. Kellar sued for $"-00,000. His petition for damages alleges that on May 17, 1&18, a number of citizens of Luling applied a coat of tar and feathers to him, put a i banner, bearing the inscription, "Traitor: ! others tnko warning," on hi in, marched ! him through the streets and ran him out of the county.
