Show RETURNED SOLDIERS TO BE WELCOMED Special to The Tribune. MURRAY, May 17. A banquet, ball and program will be given in the Fraternal Fra-ternal hall here Saturday, May 24, at 7 p m., by the Murray First ward "welcome-home" committee, in honor of all the returned soldiers, sailors and marines of the ward. , ,, . The committee which has the affair ln charge comprises Thorns F. McDonald, McDon-ald, chairman; Mrs. L. C. Miller Mrs. Frank C. Howe. David Frame, J. 1-. Rus-son Rus-son and Superintendent C. E. Gaufin. Ths committee Is desirous that trie people of Murray turn out and support it in Its efforts to help entertain tie boys who have returned from war and aid in giving the hoys a hearty welcome home Each soldier, sailor and marine and his partner will be given a complimentary compli-mentary ticket. The citizens will be risked to buv tickets from the committee :it ?2 each, which will include supper and ball. Franklin's will serve and the Hawaiian Troubadours will furnish the music. |
