Show CHANGE MADE IN WAR PRISON STAFF Captain Guy E. Carleton to Replace Captain Stephen Abbott, Assigned as TJtai Aggie Instructor. Captain Guy E. Carleton, artillery corps, U. S. A., retired, has been called into active service and assigned to duty with the Third war prison barracks company com-pany at Fort Douglas, vice Captain Stephen Abbott, retired, who has been relieved from duty with the prison camp and assigned to duty as military instructor at the Utah Agricultural college. Captain Carleton may. become adjutant adju-tant of the war prison company under Colonel George L. Byram, commandant of the orison camp, it is understood, though he has not been so designated as yet. He was assigned to ditty in place of Captain Abbott, however, and Captain Cap-tain Abbott has been adjutant of the prison company since the prison camp was opened. Captain Carleton is a native of Michigan, Michi-gan, and wTas appointed to West Pointy from the Missouri military academy. He became a second lieutenant of artillery and later was a captain of ordnance. He "was retired with the rank of captain, cap-tain, for disability sustained in the service, ser-vice, in 1909. |
