Show Coffee Futures. NEI' YORK. Sept. 11. The market for coffee Futures opened steadier, with prices 2 to 5 polniH above the previous close. Trading was quiet at the outset, but later developed a fair volum. Reports from Washington that the government will not Impose a consumptive tax on coffee wa given a bullish construction, as It was expected . to bring about a more active spot demand.
