The Oaks, who seem unable to play baseball against anybody in their own ulnss, come right along against the league -leading Seals and fight to a finish. They woke up in the seventh inning today, when the Seals J seemed to have it tied up with a seure of 4 to 0, and fought themselves Into a 5-to-4 victory. The clouds had lowered for the Seals in the fifth and sixth, in eacli of which the Oak snapped off a couple of hits. Then, having decoded Smith's puzzle balls, they hopped against him for lour hits and three runs in the seventh. The Seals still led. But in the ninth the Oaks again took the of Tensive, battered Smith out of the box and tallied twice. Johnson got into the fray too iate to be of service.
