Show ffliyS-SEML ADDS TO TOIM 'Coliiinbus-Rexall Is a bigger and better bet-ter property today than ever before and is greatly improving with every day of development," de-velopment," said M. R. Evans, vice president presi-dent and general manager of the mine, when questioned yesterday' as to physical physi-cal conditions and prospects. Mr. Evans said that the ore struck several sev-eral months ago, which brought the prrjp-ertv prrjp-ertv from obscurity into the most active trader on the Salt Lake exchange, was growing in width as progress was made and that present workings disclosed a showing of between fifteen and twenty leet of pay rock. Further addition to the tonnage of Co-lumbus-Kexall, which is now producing a little better than twenty-five tons per day, is planned by Manager Evans and will be carried into effect this week through the putting on of about fifteen more teams for hauling, in addition to the force at present employed. Mr. Evans said that two feet of unusually un-usually high grade copper had been encountered en-countered in No. 2 raise, about twenty-five twenty-five feet beyond Xo. 1 raise, and that, while the management had only gone up a few feet as yet on tills raise, the similarity simi-larity of the ore to that encountered in the No. 1 raise gave strong evidence of the continuity of the ore body. |
