Show PEACH DAY RACING EVENTS ARRANGED PRIGITAM CTTY, Sept. 11. One of trie leading attractions for Peach day, September Sep-tember 19, will he a racing programme, in which some of the fastest horses in northern north-ern Utah will compete for prizes. A broncho-riding exiiihi tion will also be given during the intt-rmis-ions between races. The rough riding will be done by i A L "Reirdneau of Tjocrnn, for three years with the Ringling riroiher-s' circus, where he won fame for his extraordinary feats on horseback and for his fancy trict-ropirr-;. Another feature of the wild west performance per-formance durimr the racing programme will be fancv riding by Mr. and Mrs. Oeorge Williams of Ofrden. Mrs. Williams, Wil-liams, who is a broncho rider of fame, challenges anv broncho or mule in the state and will ride any animal that is brought onto the race track. The races and wild west show will be under the direction of W. H. Barnard, and the programme is as follows: First prize for best broncho rider, $20; second best rider, So. For the best bucking horse, cash prize of S-0; second best bulking horse, 5. Half-mile dash, paddle-horse race, first prize ?-0; for second saddle-horse race, prize $5. Relay race, three horses, prize to winner win-ner $10. Boys' pony race, first prize second prize. $3 ; third prize, Entries are open to any horse owners who wish to compete. |
