Notice of the reduction was posted in the camp last .Saturday and at that time telegrams of protest were sent to President Wilson and to Secretary of Labor William B. Wilson. The rations were cut to one-half tiie previous allotment. The men protested that at best the food provided by the government was Insufficient. |
