The annual meeting of the stockholders of the Lehl Tintic Mining company, at which a majority of the outstanding stock was represented, was held yesterday ' t afternoon, and officers were elected as E follows: George Nicholee, president; G. 1 Anson, vice president ; H. J. Fltzger-p Fltzger-p id, secretary-treasurer ; board of directors, di-rectors, George Nicholes. George D. An-fon, An-fon, C. E. Purdue, James A. Melville and J. I". Harvey. Reports on the workings of the property prop-erty by the superintendent and the financial finan-cial report of the secretary for the year "X were heard. The work is being prose cuted on the slope from the right-hand tunnel, which la immediately under the upper working on the Gold Blossom claim and the same vein matters encountered en-countered above at about eighty feet above the tunnel level, and indicates close proximity to the ore bodies outcropping r.n this claim. The left-hand tunnel is being pushed at the face and Is now in . vein matter highly mineralized showing lead, silver and gold and about 40 units Z of iron. The manager is confident that he will encounter the ore bodies in the slope and in the face of the tunnel within a very tew days. Kvery indication of a strike is present, and the manager is very much gratified with the present showing. j These lower works are approximately y 900 feet below the apex where the ore f bodies are located. All machinery and equipment are In perfect working condition. The directors will leave for the property prop-erty early next Sunday morning and will make a thorough examination of the property. |
