Show Meet Will Teach Basic Genealogy The Utah Genealogical Association As-sociation will hold its sixth annual convention starting at 8 a.m. at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City on Nov. 5. The goal of the convention is to provide instruction in the basic principles of genealogical research. The public is invited. THERE WILL be twenty lectures on research technique tech-nique for America. Britain, Scandinavia, Germany and related topics, with two special lectures to assist the blind in genealogical research. The main emphasis this year is on beginning research. Special guest s leaker, Dr. Kenn Stryker-Rodda will lecture lec-ture on New York. New Jersey Jer-sey and professionalism in genealogical research. Dr. Stryker-Rodda is from New Jersey and is a noted lecturer and author. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists, National Genealogical Society and Genealogical Society of New Jersey. THERE WILL be displays by publishers and other businesses of interest to genealogists. The association is a nonprofit non-profit organization founded in 1971 which is devoted to raising rais-ing the level of professionalism profes-sionalism in genealogical research.
