Show EDNA CARLOW Services Held For Edna R. Carlow Funeral services were held for Edna R. Carlow, who died OcL 12, 1977, in the Lakeview Hospital from causes incident to age. SHE WAS born July 11, 1889 in Centralia, Wise, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Ridgman. She had been a member of the Eastern Star from about 1907 to 1973 and was an active member of the Episcopalian Church most of her life. In recent years, she became a member of the LDS Church. WHEN SHE was young, she sang with the Metropolitan Hall of Music. She was an early time travelling sales lady. In 1928, Mrs. Carlow became one of the first dude ranch operators, operating the B Bar M Dude Ranch southwest of the small village of Jackson, Wyo. She is survived by her husband, hus-band, Ernest T. Carlow, Pappy's Rest Haven, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; her son, Arthur R. Willard of Las Vegas, Nev. and George W. Willard of Alaska. HER grandchildren are Nancy Vandegrift of Bountiful; Boun-tiful; Gary Willard of Elko, Nev.; Sharon Brown of Anchorage, Alaska; and Janice Hawkins of Burley, Ida. Two other grandchildren, Bruce and Joanne Willard live in Alaska. She is also survived by 24 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and one great-great great-great grandson. Services were conducted at Lindquists Mortuary on Friday, Oct. 14. Burial was at the Bountiful City Cemetery. |
