Public Employee for Tiro. , Baneerter was recipient of the u's Meritorious Ser-trard, Ser-trard, which proved to : partem of the present ' that has been afforded IN competition with everv other male public employee in the state. Bangerter was first selected in a district contest as Vallev General Government District Outstanding Out-standing Public Employee. He was then nominated lor the competition for state-wide consideration for public employee of the vear and finally selected for that honor by a citizens' committee charged with making that decision. BANGERTER began wilh the Division of Wildlife Resources more than 22 years ago. and throughout' his career has distinguished himself in the performance of his duties, his involvement in his church and his concern for his community. His contributions to the Division have been many, and he has numerous publications to his credit. When he began with the Division, he worked in fisheries research and. over the years, has had a hand in fisheries management manage-ment projects as well. Presently. Bangerter is working with the Fisheries Section hatchery projects and continues to look forward to other avenues for his energies. ener-gies. THE recommendation for Bangerter said, among other things, that over the years and through his public contacts, con-tacts, he had done much to promote the philosophy of the Division, while at the same time gaining many friends and supporters for the agency. |
