Elder LeGrande Richards of the Quorum of the Twelve performed per-formed the wedding rites. THEY WERE feted at a wedding breakfast at The Red Flame, hosted by the groom's parents. A reception was held at the Carillon on Oct. 8. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Beeton of 810 South 300 East, Centerville, are parents of the bride. PARENTS OF the groom are Mr. and Mrs. H. Lawrence Barber of 445 So. Main, Centerville. A TERRIBLE SITUATION Bates-Gregg hasn't taken a vacation in years. Gates-He must be a hard worker. Bates-Just the opposite. . His job is so easy that he hates to rest because it's too much like work. The bride was attired in a tiered lace and jeweled gown. She carried a bouquet of pale yellow tinted poms, white and yellow roses. Matron of honor was Debbie Randall; maid of honor, Sharon Barber; bridesmaids, Mrs. Don Gaybill, Teresa Beeton; junior bridesmaids, Nancie Kae and Genae Beeton. Bee-ton. They wore pale yellow polyester crepe. MOTHERS GOWNS were yellow floral crepe. Their corsages were white orchids. Gary Barber performed the duties of best man. Lynn Barber was an usher. PRENUPT1AL parties were given by Sharon Barber and Mrs. Lynn Barber. Valeen and Larry are both graduates of Viewmont High School. Larry fulfilled an LDS Arizona Mission. THEY WILL make their future fu-ture home in Bountiful following a honeymoon trip to Bear Lake and Jackson, Wyo. |
