Show Bountiful By BERTHA L. MUIR 295-3742 From Utrecht The Netherlands Mrs. Nel Teunis-sen Teunis-sen was visiting Utah this summer. She is a long time friend of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit van Dijk. She stayed with them for two and one half months. Together they traveled a lot and among many places they went to the Crystal Icetaves and Craters of the Moon in Idaho, Teton National Park and Yellowstone Park in Wyoming, Lake Powell, Capitol Capi-tol Reef National Park and Fish Lake in Utah. The Bountiful Sweet Adelines are getting ready for the international competition in London on Nov. 3. A preview of songs to be sung by the group was held at the Horace Mann Center in Salt Lake City. The chapter is one of more than 650 choruses. Mrs. Doloes Carraher en tertained the Saturday night bridge club Oct. 15. Mrs. Wallace E. Hess, Mrs. Ruby Layton, Mrs. Stewart Slingerland and five children were luncheon guests at the Bertha Muir home last Sunday. Sun-day. A Bingo party will be held Friday evening at the local American Legion Post home. The public is invited to attend. at-tend. The money earned is used for the various projects of the womens auxiliary. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Young will be caller and hostess. The date is Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Loraine and Lorna Peterson, Peter-son, who are attending Weber State College, spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Eldora Peterson. Lori, the eldest daughter is in Australia Aus-tralia on an LDS mission. The October membership luncheon for the Golden Years Center members will be held at the Center on Oct. 27 at noon.
