Show t til i i V x i ; V i - ' ( FIGHT DISABILITIES In Utah schools there are many children of average or above average intelligence experiencing difficulties in learning. THE UTAH Association for Children with Learning Disabilities was organized by a group of dedicated parents and professionals to advance the education and general welfare of children and youth who have these specific learning disabilities. The officers of the organization or-ganization for this year are: Kathy and Bryon Dalrymple, presidents; Grace G. Mars-den, Mars-den, program chairman; Gail Bock, secretary; Linda Mitchell, treasurer; Elaine A. Smith, publicity. THE SOUTH Davis Chapter of the Association sponsors a series of informative public meetings throughout the school year. The following programs have been prepared for this year: Oct. 26, "Walk in Another Pair of Shoes," Gail Bock, teacher Edward L. Fasy, Discipline, Primary Children's Hospital. NOV. 19, Utah State Convention Con-vention UACLD, University of Utah Behavioral Sciences Building, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25, Susan Ryberg, Janet Blake, Joan Sebastian, U of U Special Education -Home Management techniques. tech-niques. MARCH 1, Frances Wright, resource teacher, Davis School District realistic educational expectations. March 29, Dr. Betty Harrison, faculty, BYU, lifetime life-time planning. APRIL 26, Superintendent Officers of the South Davis Association for Children with Learning Disabilities are, 1 to r, Gail Bock, secretary; Elaine Smith, publicity; Bryon Dalrymple, and Kathy Dalrymple, presidents; Linda Mitchell, treasurer, and Grace G.
