Show Olive J. Dunn Dies At Age 82 Funeral services were held for Olive Amanda Johnston Dunn, 82, of 235 East Center, Bountiful, who died Oct. 16, 1977 at her home of a heart attack. MRS. DUNN was bom June 2, 1895 to James and Martha Melissa Jacobsen Johnston. She was married Oct. 8, 1914 at the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church and held several positions in the Primary and Relief Society; member of the Bountiful Ninth Ward. SURVIVORS include her sons, James West Dunn; Kent, Wash.; William Wendell Wen-dell Dunn, Tacoma, Wash.; daughters, Mrs. Byron (Dorcas) (Dor-cas) Crowley, Hannibal, Mo.; Mrs. Alton (Melba) Thrasher, Bountiful; Mrs. L. K. (Twila) Guymon, St. Louis, Mo. ; Mrs. C. A. (Elma) Martindale, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lowell (Marjean) Steed, Centerville; 23 grandchildren, 47 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Bountiful Ninth Ward Chapel, Oct. 19, with Bishop Roger J. Fluhman, Bountiful Ninth Ward officiating. FAMILY PRAYER was given by William Wendell Dunn; prelude and postlude music, Ann Barton; invocation, invoca-tion, James Roberts; musical selection, "Who Am I" written writ-ten by J. Ira Young, by Marva Young and James Young, accompanied ac-companied by Joann Young. Bishop's remarks, Bishop Roger J. Fluhman; speaker, Glen B. Goodrich; musical selection, an organ Medley by Eluise R. Flitton; speaker, Alden O. Hayward; musical selection, "Tree of Life" by J. Ira Young, by Shirley Bee-ton, Bee-ton, Marva Young, and James Beeton, accompanied by Joann Young; benediction by James West Dunn. PALLBEARERS were Eugene D. Roberts, Wayne Flitton, Robin Guymon, Tom Martindale, Richard Steed, Wayne Steed, Ronald Dunn, and Brent Eggett. Honorary pallbearers were James Dunn, Rodney Trappe, Keith Ramon, Dave Martindale, Martin-dale, Gary Martindale, Jack Roberts, Kevin Dunn, Byron Crowley, L. K. Guymon, C. A. Martindale, Gary Martindale, Richard Rees, Boyd Millet, and Larry Dunn. CARE OF flowers was by the Bountiful Ninth Ward Relief Society. Dedication of the grave was by Lowell Steed. Interment was in the Centerville City Cemetery. |
