Show Woods Cross Cheryl Ann Blackley, daughter of LeGrande and Pat Blackley, is busy in music as always. This past week she has been active in the All-State band and enjoyed en-joyed participating at the UEA convention held at the Salt Palace recently. Mrs. 'Blanche Moss has enjoyed en-joyed a visit from the Don Schofields of Three Forks, Mont. Mrs. Schofield is the former Pat Moss, and daughter of Mrs. Moss. The travelers were in the area to visit family and friends and also visited with their daughter who is presently attending at-tending Brigham Young University. Welcome home to Louise Hogan. She enjoyed a vacation vaca-tion to Phoenix, Ariz, where she visited with her grandson and his family. She was accompanied ac-companied by Jerry and Kay Hogan of Bountiful. Jeremy Corbridge, son of Lewis and Christy Corbridge is improving following a stay at Lakeview Hospital where he received treatment for a recent illness. Representative Chairman Cheryl Brown. The climax of the afternoon featured a surprise for the teachers. Under the direction of their room representatives, the students had drawn pictures pic-tures of their teachers. Some also had written on the back of their pictures their reasons for liking their teachers. THE pictures were mounted mount-ed and framed to make a poster for each teacher. The teachers were given an opportunity op-portunity to guess which poster contained pictures of them. After the fun of guessing guess-ing and reading the sentiments, sen-timents, the teachers were given the posters as momen-tos momen-tos of the day. The program also featured a poem given by Kathleen Parker, volunteer assistant. THANKS were given to those who had given special service on the tea; Dixie Nebeker, president; Trudy Henderson, vice president; Barbara Hugoe, Kathy Parker, Maureen Bateman, Darlene Warren and the hospitality hos-pitality committee; Sharon George, chairman; Brenda Eliason, Karen George, and Carey Harrison. Principal Brice Hallows announced that individual pictures will be taken at the West Bountiful School some -time in November, am twwwwwwww |
